J oin us on a pilgrimage during the 2025 Jubilee Year. The Jubilee is a Holy Year of grace and pilgrimage in the Catholic Church. The 2025 Jubilee Year has been given the motto “Pilgrims of Hope” by His Holiness, Pope Francis. The Jubilee will start on December 24, 2024, and will be celebrated until January 6, 2026. “The forthcoming Jubilee can greatly contribute to restoring a climate of hope and trust as a prelude to the renewal and rebirth that we so urgently desire,” - Pope Francis On our Jubilee Pilgrimages, you will be able to visit all four papal basilicas and walk through one of the Holy Doors. Discover why Italy is a bastion of Catholicism as you visit Rome’s Seven Pilgrim Churches and the Catacombs. Attend the weekly papal audience and receive the blessing given by the pope (If he is in residence). During the Jubilee, the faithful may ask for a plenary indulgence, the remission of sins for themselves or for deceased relatives. The best-known rite of the Jubilee year is the opening of the Holy Door at the four major basilicas of Rome: St. Peter’s Basilica, the Archbasilica of St. John Lateran, the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, and the Basilica of St. Mary Major. Rome is actively preparing to welcome millions of pilgrims for the Jubilee Year and space in Rome is filling up fast. Plan you pilgrimage early!
